Our Talented Veterinarians
Dr. Cynthia (Mayo) Lindsay attended DePaul University in Chicago for undergraduate studies, then Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, British West Indies for veterinary school. After completing her fourth clinical year at Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lindsay moved to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. She began working at Columbia Veterinary Hospital in 2006 and purchased the hospital in 2012. Realizing the practice had outgrown the facility, Dr. Lindsay designed and built a new small animal and equine hospital on the Columbia River in 2019. Dr. Lindsay is passionate about providing excellent veterinary care to all patients and supporting their owners equally through times of wellness and difficulty.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing the many recreational activities the gorge has to offer. She can often be found riding her bike on the riverfront trail in The Dalles.
