Are there payment plans available or discounts for multiple pets?

We offer a wellness plan for puppies and kittens that offers overall discounts for care per pet. Ask one of our receptionists about our puppy and kitten plan details.

We do not offer discounts for multiple pets.

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, credit cards, pet insurance, Care Credit, and Scratch Pay.
Please note that payment is due at the time of services performed. We do not offer payment plans.

Columbia Veterinary Hospital offers a 10% discount on all services to senior citizens (62+), active duty, and retired military. Products are not included.

Are there staff members on site 24hrs a day?

Saturday: Closed

Emergency Services are available during regular business hours.

How old does my pet have to be to be vaccinated?

Generally, we start vaccines at 8 weeks of age for cats and dogs. In all cases, decisions regarding the vaccine types and vaccine schedules that are best for each pet require professional advice.

How old does my pet have to be to be spayed/neutered?

Generally, we spay/neuter at 6 months of age for both cats and dogs.

There are many different factors to weigh when determining the optimal time to spay/neuter a pet, including health factors, breed, behavioral factors, and your pet’s environment.

Talk to your veterinarian to determine the best time to spay your pet.

Do you keep my pet overnight after surgery?

Generally, with routine procedures and no complications, your pet will go home the same day of surgery.

Am I able to see the same veterinarian at each visit?

When scheduling an appointment, please let a receptionist know if you have doctor preferences. We will try to accommodate your requests to the best of our ability. Due to scheduling, it may not always be guaranteed.
